2023 (Junior)

• Appeared in 17 games, making two starts ... Went 3-4 with a 4.73 ERA in 45.2 innings ... Struck out 50 and walked 21
• Was brilliant down the stretch, allowing just six runs (three earned) over his last 23.1 innings
• Struck out four over 3.2 innings of scoreless relief at No. 14 Virginia Tech
• Earned the win at Davidson with five strikeouts over 2.0 scoreless innings of relief
• Tossed 3.2 innings of scoreless relief to earn a win vs NJIT
• Allowed six runs on six hits in 2.2 innings at UMass Lowell on April 7
• Ended the year by allowing just six runs (three earned) over his final 23.1 innings (1.16 ERA)
• Started at No. 20 UConn, allowing one unearned run and striking out two ... Earned the win vs UAlbany with 3.1 innings of one-hit relief
• Struck out a career-high seven in 4.0 innings of relief at NJIT
• Allowed just one run on four hits over 4.0 innings of relief vs Binghamton
• Retired nine of the 10 batters he faced in 3.0 innings of relief at Maine
• Didn't allow a hit and just one unearned run in 3.0 innings of relief in the America East Tournament. 

2022 (Sophomore)

• Appeared in 14 games and made one start ... Posted a 3.80 ERA in 23.2 innings ... Allowed just 18 hits, walked 11 and struck out 20
• Missed part of season with injury
• Struck out two in a scoreless inning at Davidson ... Struck out four and allowed just one hit over 3.2 scoreless at No. 24 Old Dominion
• Made first-career start at Northeastern, tossing 4.0 scoreless
• Missed five-straight weekends before returning on May 15 to toss 2.0 scoreless vs CCSU
• Made three appearances in the NEC Tournament ... Tossed 2.0 scoreless in game one vs CCSU and 3.0 innings in the second meeting ... Tossed 1.1 scoreless innings of relief in the championship game.

2021 (Freshman)

• Appeared in 12 games out of the bullpen ... Finished 1-1 with a save and a 2.38 ERA in 22.2 innings ... Allowed 19 hits, walked eight and struck out 27 (10.72 K/9)
• Registered the fifth-most innings on the staff ... Made his collegiate debut against Coastal Carolina, striking out three in an inning of work
• Allowed one unearned run over his next four relief appearances (4.0 IP) before tossing 4.0 scoreless at URI on Apr. 7 to earn his first collegiate win ... Struck out five and didn't walk a batter
• Earned his first-career save with 3.0 innings of scoreless relief vs Merrimack on May 9
• Struck out six over 4.0 scoreless innings of relief at Wagner on May 14
• Allowed two runs on six hits and struck out four over 3.0 innings of relief in the NEC Tournament against CCSU.

Wainer played one season in New York before spending final two years of his career at Johns Creek ... Posted a 4-0 record and a 0.69 ERA in 30.1 innings as a junior ... Posted three saves, struck out 27 and posted a 0.692 WHIP ... Went 5-1 with a 0.84 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 33 innings as a sophomore ... Walked just 11 ... Threw the first-ever no-hitter in Johns Creek history ... League Pitcher of the Year as a sophomore ... Also played basketball ... Played travel ball for East Cobb Astros ... Team was ranked No. 2 in the nation and won the USA NC20 National Championship ... Also won four Perfect Game Championships ... Art Honor Society member.
