• Posted career-highs in hits (nine) and RBIs with three... Went 2-for-4 from the plate against Stonehill (Apr. 18), where she recorded her first career home run and double.
•  Recorded an RBI versus Ga. Southern (Feb. 17).

As a Freshman (2022):

• Appeared in seven games for Bryant as a pinch-hitter
• Recorded her first career hit at Norfolk St. (Mar. 6)
• Went 1-2 at the plate versus Howard (Mar. 14), where she also registered her first stolen base as a Bulldog.
• Drew two walks during the year.

Before Bryant: Played varsity softball for four years at Monacan High School… Batted .374 as a freshman and followed that with a .474 batting average as a sophomore… Hit third most triples in the state of Virginia as a freshman… Named team captain during her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons… A member of the Virginia Legends club softball team since 2015… Amira's father Wali Rainer was drafted by the Cleveland Browns and played eight years in the NFL.

Personal: Daughter of Brandi and Wali Rainer… Has four brothers.
