As a redshirt-freshman: Appeared in all 11 games for the Bulldogs in 2016 ... Saw time on special teams and at linebacker ... Made one start ... Posted 14 tackles on the year ... Made a season-high four tackles at Maine ... Posted two tackles on three separate occassions. 

As a freshman: Did not make an appearance for the Bulldogs in 2015.

Before Bryant: A three-year starter for head coach Scott Raymond at East Longmeadow … Helped team to a 9-2 record, a co-league title and a division runner-up finish … Led the team in sacks and was the top receiver … Averaged 24.6 yards per catch on his way to All-League honors … Also played basketball and track … Captained basketball and track teams as a senior … Honor Roll student … Attended Bryant Football Camp.

Personal: The son of Onaiwu Akenzua-Chukwumah and Kim Obed Ukelegharanya, Richard Ukelegharanya was born on Sept. 8, 1997 … Has two brothers, Kennedy and Edward.
