- This is the first matchup between Army and Bryant.
- This will be the sixth game against an FBS opponent for the Bulldogs. The Black and Gold are 1-4 versus FBS opponents, after defeating UMass last season, for the first win against an FBS opponent in DI program history.
Bulldogs Notes and Notables
- OJ Ross had a great debut for the Bulldogs, tallying 102 yards on the ground and a touchdown. This was Ross's fourth career game of 100+ yards.
- Omaris McMiller Jr. was all over the field on Saturday, tallying six tackles, a pass break-up, and a blocked punt. This was the fourth consecutive season that the Black and Gold have blocked a punt.
- The defensive line duo of Toby Brown Jr. and Gideon Bedada combined for two sacks and three tackles for loss against Stonehill. Bedada also forced a fumble on a strip sack that was recovered by Brown Jr.
- Anthony Schettino tallied a career-high 1.5 tackles for loss last week, including a pivotal stop on fourth down that changed momentum.
- This will be the second straight year that Bryant will start the season with back-to-back road games.
A bit about the Black Knights
- Army posted a 7-6 record last season and a 2-3 record at home.
- Cole Hellums will be under center for Army. The senior tallied 1,270 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. He also threw for 694 yards.
- The Black Knights averaged 254 rushing yards per game last season, which ranked fourth in the country.
- Jack Bousum was tied for the team lead in sacks last season with 4.5.
