NARRAGANSET, R.I. — The Bryant University swimming and diving team participated in Swim Across America's Rhode Island open-water swim last Saturday. They came together to raise money for cancer research.

The Bulldogs raised a total of $22,355, finishing second among all participating teams in total funds raised. Jacqui Fox led Bryant's fundraising with $1,965, followed by Kaitlyn Burk with $1,080 and Livia Wahl with $875. Several other Bulldogs also contributed more than $400 to help the team reach its total.

The event brought together collegiate swimmers, cancer survivors and community members from across the region, all supporting the fight against cancer. Overall, the event has raised $294,173 for cancer research.

The Bulldogs are always proud to come together outside of the pool to support an important cause.
