SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The third-seeded Bryant women's lacrosse team will face second-seeded UAlbany in the second of two America East Women's Lacrosse Championship semifinals at Virtue Field in Burlington, Vt., on Friday night. First draw is set for 7:00 p.m.
Top-seeded and host Vermont is slated to face No. 4 seed UMBC in the first semifinal at 4:00 p.m. The winners will meet in the 2026 America East Women's Lacrosse Championship on Sunday, May 3 at 12:00 p.m., with the winner earning an AQ to the NCAA Tournament.

THE SERIES
- Bryant is 2-7 all-time against UAlbany, including a 9-8 loss in this year's regular season meeting.
- The Bulldogs and Great Danes meet for the second-straight year in the America East Championships. Last season, UAlbany earned a 14-10 victory in the championship game at Beirne Stadium.
- Earlier this year in Albany, the Great Danes led 5-4 at the half and built a 9-6 lead late in the fourth quarter. Back-to-back goals from Riley O'Mara made it a one-goal game with under three minutes to play but UAlbany was able to hold off the Black and Gold.
AMERICA EAST CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD
- Vermont, UAlbany and Bryant all finished at 5-1 and shared the America East Regular Season title. Vermont claimed the No. 1 seed due to the tiebreak procedure.
- UMBC claimed a victory on the final day to shift into the No. 4 seed.
- The Catamounts are the No. 1 seed for the first time in program history and have won the title as recently as 2022.
- UAlbany has won two of the last three titles and has won four total titles.
- Bryant has claimed a regular season title in each of the last two seasons.
BRYANT IN THE POSTSEASON
- The Bulldogs are making their 11th conference tournament appearance in 13 full Division I seasons.
- Bryant is 11-7 in conference tournament play, going 8-2 in the semifinal round and 3-5 in the championship.
- The Black and Gold won conference tournament titles in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
NOTES AND NOTABLES
- Bryant enters the postseason with a 10-6 overall record and finished with a 5-1 conference record.
- It marked the eighth time in DI program history that Bryant finished with one or fewer league losses.
- Bryant enters the tournament with the league's highest scoring offense and is first in the league in caused turnovers and second in draw controls.
- The Black and Gold have won three of their last four games, allowing fewer than 10 goals in each of the last three.
- Gabriella Constant recorded the 10th 50-goal season in DI program history thanks to four goals last week at Binghamton. She is one of two players in the league with 50+ goals. Constant has recorded nine hat tricks over the last 14 games.
- Emily DeGeorge has 42 goals and six assists on the season. She has posted 24 points (21g, 3a) in America East play. DeGeorge was second in the league with 3.50 goals per game in league play.
- Kaelynn O'Brien and Jessica Tosone make up the league's top defensive duo. O'Brien has 39 ground balls, 44 caused turnovers and 39 draw controls, while Tosone has 37 ground balls, 39 caused turnovers and 37 draw controls.
- O'Brien ranks 11th nationally in caused turnovers, while Tosone paced America East play with 3.20 turnovers per game.
- Ashling Marshall has scored in each of the last 10 games, posting 17 goals in the span.
- Riley O'Mara enters the tournament with 29 on the year. She has scored 12 goals over her last five and had two in Bryant's regular season meeting with UAlbany.
- Julia Girard set the DI single-game program record with 17 draw controls vs UMBC and averaged 9.5 draw controls per game in league play. She averaged 11.0 draw controls per game over the last four games.
- Sierra Donis has allowed single-digit goals in each of her last three games and in eight of her 15 starts.

SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES
- UAlbany enters the tournament at 10-5 overall and went 5-1 in league play. The Great Danes have not played since an April 18 loss to Vermont in Burlington.
- The Great Danes are led by Ravan Marsell (26g, 33a) and Paisley Cook (16g, 46a, 142 DC).
- Mya Carroll (23), Kloey Roos (26) and Jaedyn Frink (24) all have 20+ goals on the year.
- Cook was named the America East Midfielder of the Year, while Carroll earned America East Rookie of the Year honors.
- Goalie Grace Cincebox was named America East Co-Goalkeeper of the Year.
