LOWELL, MASS. – The Bryant University softball team won both games of a doubleheader against UMass Lowell by scores of 2-0 and 8-0 on the road.
Maddy Wachter threw her eighth complete game of the season and fourth in a row, as she held the River Hawks to no runs, one hit, and struck out a season-high seven in game one.
Laniya Lewis hit a two-run home run,
Bryce Clendenin had two RBI,
Alissa West, and
Gabriella Gesualdo both tallied two hits as
Brooke Tracy went five, shutting out UML in game two.
