COLONIA, N.J. –
Madison Lewis was named the Most Outstanding Bowler for the ECC championships and
Olivia Hillman was named to the All-Tournament team.
Lewis recorded a 21.12 frame average, scoring 22.30 per frame in traditional and 19.81 per frame in baker, with an overall fill percentage of 88.1%. She came in second in sum of striking (57.6%) and sum of average first ball (9.23). Lewis was also a Second Team All-ECC selection.
Hillman scored 20.97 per frame in traditional and 21.17 per frame in baker, with an overall fill percentage of 90.0%. She was also the ECC Bowler of the Year and a First Team All-ECC selection.
The Bulldogs took home their first ECC championship in program history, earning an automatic bid to the NC women's bowling championship. They'll face the No. 4 seed Louisiana Tech in the Regional Round April 3 in Arlington, Texas.
