BRYANT USES BIG RUN TO DOWN NJIT, CLINCH PLAYOFF SPOT

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Timofei Rudovskii scored a game-high 20 points and the Bryant men's basketball team used a 28-1 run to earn a 69-52 victory over NJIT on Saturday afternoon at the Chace Athletic Center.
 
With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 9-20 overall and 5-10 in league play. The victory also secured Bryant's spot in the 2026 Air Force Reserve America East Playoffs. Bryant will play its final regular season game on Tuesday night at New Hampshire with a chance to earn the No. 6 seed.
 
On Saturday, Bryant trailed 30-21 with 3:00 to play in the first half before ripping off a 28-1 run over the next 10 minutes of gameplay. Bryant went 10-of-15 from the field in the stretch and held NJIT 0-of-14, taking a 49-31 lead with 13:05 left in the second half.
 
Rudovskii led Bryant with 20 points on 4-of-7 shooting from three and added eight boards, two assists and two steals. Keegan Harvey finished with 16 points and eight rebounds, while Ty Tabales posted 14 points, four assists, four steals and two blocks.

How it Happened
  • NJIT raced out to a 9-2 lead, forcing a Bryant timeout with 15:30 left in the first half.
