BRYANT VISITS FIRST-PLACE UMBC THURSDAY NIGHT

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant men's basketball team travels to Baltimore on Thursday to take on first place UMBC. Tip is set for 6:00 p.m.

THE SERIES

  • Bryant is 6-2 vs UMBC since joining the America East for the 2022-23 season. The Bulldogs have won each of the last six meetings.

  • In OT, a runaway dunk from Aaron Davis III and clutch free throw shooting from Ashley Sims II helped Bryant earn the 79-74 victory.

BULLDOGS FALL TO BINGHAMTON LAST THURSDAY

  • Bryant fell to Binghamton, 79-67, last Thursday at the Chace Athletic Center.
  • The Bearcats shot 59 percent from the field, 55 percent from three and 91 percent from the free throw line.
  • Bryant was led by Ty Tabales (21 pts) and Keegan Harvey (20 pts).
TABALES EARNS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
  • Ty Tabales earned his fourth America East Rookie of the Week honor on Monday. Bryant has now won seven rookie of the week honors this year, two shy of the nine that the Bulldogs claimed in the 2019-20 season.
  • Tabales posted 21 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals vs Binghamton.
