How it Happened
- UVM tallied a 10-6 lead in the first five minutes of the game. Izzy Adams had four of the Bulldogs six points.
- It was closely contested to end the first quarter with the Catamounts earning a slight 807 edge, resulting in a 18-13 deficit for Bryant. Mimi Rubino scored the last five points for the Black and Gold, including a sequence off a Nia Scott block where Rubino went baseline to baseline and finished an and-one layup.
- The Bulldogs outscored the Catamounts 13-8 in the second quarter, which created a 26-26 tie at the half.
- Both teams continued to battle, edging out UVM with a 9-8 run in the first five minutes of the second half (35-34). Mia Mancini hit the first two shots of the half, and Adams knocked down her second corner three-pointer of the game.
- The Catamounts tallied five, and the Bulldogs scored two to end the third quarter, giving UVM a 39-37 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
