Box Score BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont shot 58 percent from the field on its way to a 90-63 victory over the Bryant men's basketball team on Saturday afternoon at Patrick Gymnasium.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 8-18 overall and 4-8 in league play. Bryant will host Binghamton on Thursday (Feb. 19) in its only game next week.
Vermont led by 12 at the break but outscored Bryant 29-10 over the first eight minutes of the second half to pull away. The Catamounts finished 30-of-52 from the field and 9-of-14 from three in the contest.
Bryant was led by
Ty Tabales' career-high 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the field and 5-of-8 from three.
Aaron Davis III added 13 and
Keegan Harvey posted 10.
Timofei Rudovskii, Bryant's leading scorer, was held scoreless for the first time this season.

How it Happened
- Bryant stayed even with Vermont in the 6:30, taking a 10-8 lead on a jumper from Sims with 14:01 left.
- Vermont, however, used a 15-2 run to open up a 23-12 lead with 7:33 left in the first half. Bryant went just 1-of-9 during the stretch.
- Bryant was able to clean things up in the next four minutes, outscoring Vermont 11-9 to close the deficit to nine. Tabales was a spark off the bench, hitting a pair of left wing threes.
- UVM would push its lead back to 14 but Jakai Robinson tracked down a rebound and beat the halftime buzzer to make it 27-39 at the break.
- Vermont put the game away as it opened the second half with a 29-10 run in the first eight minutes. The Catamounts went 10-of-13 from the field and 3-of-4 from three.
- Bryant battled as Tabales swished three from beyond the arc and Davis added a pair from beyond the arc.
