BRYANT VISITS UMASS LOWELL ON THURSDAY NIGHT

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant men's basketball team begins a two-game road trip on Thursday night with a trip to Lowell to face the River Hawks. Tip is set for 6:00 p.m.

THE SERIES

  • UMass Lowell owns a 6-2 lead in the Division I series between the two programs. The River Hawks earned a 77-63 victory on Jan. 8 at the Chace.

FIRST TIME OUT VS UMASS LOWELL

BRYANT COMPLETES SEASON SWEEP OF MAINE

  • Bryant completed a season sweep of Maine with a 73-67 victory last Saturday at the Chace.
  • The Bulldogs trailed by nine early but rebounded to take a lead into the break and then held off a late Maine push.
  • Maine turned a nine-point deficit to two with under 2:00 to play but a Keegan Harvey putback and three free throws from Khalil Williams helped put the game away.
  • Williams posted 15 points in his first career start for the Bulldogs.
RUDOVSKII AMONG ELITE COMPANY
  • Timofei Rudovskii has recorded four 20-point games this season, joining Alex Francis (6), Nisre Zouzoua (5), Adam Grant (4) and Marcel Pettway (4) as the only freshmen in DI program history with as many as four in a season.
  • He also is just the sixth player (Francis, Zouzoua, Grant, Pettway and Joe Kasperzyk) to record 300+ points in a season as a freshmen and joins Francis as the only freshmen to have as many as 20 double-digit scoring efforts as a freshmen.

  • Timofei Rudovskii leads Bryant in scoring with 13.4 ppg overall and 15.5 ppg in league play. He is 2.5 3pFG per game in league play.
