ALBANY, N.Y. – The Bryant field hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision to UAlbany on Friday afternoon.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 6-5 overall and 0-2 in America East play. Bryant wraps up the weekend on Sunday morning as it hosts Towson at Cowen Field. Pass back is set for 11:00 a.m.
Bryant battled UAlbany for three-plus quarters before consecutive green cards put the Great Danes up a pair of players and led to the game-winning goal with just under nine minutes left.

First Quarter

- After a pair of questionable green cards left Bryant down two players, UAlbany struck.
- van Lierop made the initial stop but Lillian Willis was able to poke home the rebound to make it 1-0 with just over nine minutes remaining.
- UAlbany closed out the game with an empty-cage goal.
