BOSTON – Bryant women's soccer senior
Shannon Mejia was named America East Goalkeeper of the week on Monday afternoon.
Mejia made nine saves between both conference games this week, logging shutouts in both. Four saves were made in the 2-0 win against UNH and five saves were made in the 1-0 win against NJIT.
Mejia has a save percentage of .764 on the season so far and a career percentage of .781. The pair of shutouts will bring her to a total of five on the season. Mejia is second in the conference and 35th nationally for shutouts.
This will be Mejia's first time receiving an America East weekly honor.
The Bulldogs return to action on Sunday, October 11
th when they host UVM for senior day.
