BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Bryant women's golf freshman Florencia Cuellar Gutierrez has been named Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week after finishing seventh individually at the Crusader Invitational, the league announced Thursday. 

Cuellar Gutiérrez posted rounds of 77 (seven-over par) and 81 (11-over par) for an 18-over-par total at Worcester Country Club from Oct. 19-20, ranking in the top 10 out of 79 golfers.  

The Santa Cruz, Bolivia, native's performance marked the first time she has logged a top-10 tournament finish in her collegiate career. 

Bryant shot 92-over-par as a team to place fourth out of 13 teams in the event, its best outing of the 2026 fall season.  

The Bulldogs will open their 2027 spring season at the Stetson Hatter Invitational in Debary, Florida, from Feb. 22-23.
