THE SERIES

BRYANT FALLS TO UMASS LOWELL ON THURSDAY NIGHT
- Bryant suffered just its second home loss of the season on Thursday night, falling to UMass Lowell, 77-63.
- The Bulldogs allowed four late points to trail by seven at the break but then cut the deficit to three midway through the second half.
- UML, however, answered with a game-deciding 17-3 run.
- Aaron Davis III led Bryant with 21 points, while Angel Montas Jr. posted a game-high 27 for UMass Lowell.
AD3 THRIVING IN STARTING ROLE
- Aaron Davis III had appeared in 28 games off the bench leading into Bryant's matchup with Iona on Dec. 10. In those 28 games, he was averaging just 4.0 ppg and shooting 25.0 percent (18-72) from three for his career.
- Davis made his first-career start vs the Gaels and poured in 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting from three. He has started each game since and is averaging 14.7 ppg and shooting 50.0 percent (23-of-46) from three in those six games.

- Timofei Rudovskii has shot the ball from beyond the arc over his last 11 games, going 23-of-54. He is now shooting 37 percent from three on the season and leads the team with 11.6 ppg. He posted 15 points vs UML on Thursday night and has blocked five shots through two America East games.
- Aaron Davis III is second in the America East in three-point percentage and tied for third in 3pFG/game.
- Ashley Sims II is having an all-around year, averaging 7.6 ppg, 5.1 rpg and 2.2 apg. Sims has recorded double figures in scoring in each of Bryant's first two league games.
