BEASLEY AND TONELLI-SMITH TABBED FOR AE WEEKLY AWARDS

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Bryant University junior diver Megan Beasley and sophomore swimmer Ruby Tonelli-Smith both took home America East Weekly Awards, the league announced on Tuesday. Beasley would be named diver of the week and Tonelli-Smith would be named swimmer of the week.

Beasley broke the school record in the women's 3-meter dive at Boston University after recording 315.90 points and finishing second. Beasley also placed second in the 1-Meter dive with 289.58 points. This is Beasley's fifth #AESD Diver of the Week honor of the season and her second week in a row.

Tonelli-Smith won both the women's 100 and 200 yard butterfly. She finished the 100 fly in 53.32 and the 200 fly in 1:57.68. This is Tonelli-Smith's third #AESD Swimmer of the Week honor of the season.
