AMHERST, Mass. -- The Bryant women's swimming and diving team fell to UMass, 181-119, on Monday afternoon.
Monday marked Bryant's first meet of 2026. The Bulldogs will now head on their annual training trip before returning home to host Marist on January 17 at the Chace Athletic Center Pool.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Megan Beasley finished second in both the 3-meter (280.50) and 1-meter (264.68).
- Katherine Bailey enjoyed a strong meet, winning both the 1000 free (10:30.11) and 500 free (5:07.04). She finished third in the 200 free.
- Bryant went 2-3-4 in the 100 back as Clara Steen, Jacqui Fox and Elise Richardson all finished in succession.
- Ruby Tonelli won the 200 fly (2:03.65) by nearly five seconds. She won the 100 fly (55.71) by two seconds.
- Marcella Figueroa and Sofia Doersch finished 2-3 in the 50 free.
- Fox picked up a second-place finish in the 200 back, while Jocie Niemcyxk finished second in the 200 breast.

Bryant returns to the Chace Athletic Center Pool on Jan. 17 to host Marist. Bryant will honor its senior class prior to the meet.
