Dawson Rielly and
Luke Mead have been selected to the America East Preseason All-Conference Team, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Coming into the season as a redshirt sophomore, Rielly flourished during the 2025 campaign for the Black and Gold, leading the squad with 41 goals on the season while recording five assists. On top of that, the attackman tallied nine hat tricks throughout the season, including five-goal games against Quinnipiac, Merrimack and NJIT.

Luke Mead was named to the All-America East Second Team for his efforts during the 2025 season. The Rhode Island native appeared in all 15 games for the Black and Gold, scooping 24 ground balls and forcing 20 turnovers.Â
The America East also announced that the Bulldogs were picked second in the annual Preseason Coaches Poll, having received one first-place vote.
Defending tournament champion UAlbany took the top spot in the poll receiving the remaining six of the possible seven first-place votes.
The Black and Gold went 5-1 in conference play, claiming the America East Regular Season title, in 2025 and finished the season with a 10-5 record overall.
The first game of the 2026 season for the Black and Gold is on the road against Providence on Feb. 7th.Â
