Box Score ALBANY – UAlbany held the Bryant men's basketball team to just 27 percent from the field in a 71-46 victory over the Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon at the Broadview Center.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 5-12 overall and 1-2 in league play. Bryant returns to the court on Thursday (Jan. 15) when it hosts UMBC for a 6:00 p.m. tip.
Bryant trailed by as many as 17 in the first half before whittling the deficit to seven at the break. The Bulldogs, however, shot just 4-of-28 and was outscored 30-12 in the second half in what turned out to be its largest loss in America East play since joining the conference.
Timofei Rudovskii was Bryant's offensive producer on Saturday, posting 20 points on 7-of-16 shooting. He was 3-of-10 from three.
Aaron Davis III and
Jakai Robinson each collected nine points for the Black and Gold.

- UAlbany opened an early 11-6 lead behind a 3-for-3 start from beyond the arc.
- Back-to-back layups from Amir Lindsey gave the Great Danes a 15-6 lead with 15:10 to play.
- The Great Danes' run would extend to 12-0 and push the lead to 20-6 at the 13:10 mark of the first half. It was part of an 8-of-10 start from the field for UAlbany.
- Meanwhile, Bryant was mired in a 1-of-8 (1-of-5 3pFG) start from the field over the first eight minutes.
- Keegan Harvey finally put an end to the 12-0 run with a free throw at the 11:57 mark.
- Bryant, however, went nearly nine minutes without a field goal as the Great Danes built a 15-point lead, 27-9.
- Robinson's driving layup at the 9:40 was Bryant's first field goal since the 18:11 mark.
- It lifted the lid a little for Bryant as Rudovskii followed with a pullup jumper and a top-of-the-key three to make it a 12-point game.
