BOSTON - Senior goalkeeper
Enzo Carvalho of the Bryant University men's soccer team was announced as the America East Defensive Player of the Week by the organization this morning.
Carvalho registered two clean sheets in Bryant's 2-0 week against fierce competition in Dartmouth and #20 UMass Amherst. Carvalho recorded six saves over the course of two games, the last line of protection for a fierce defense that's only allowed two goals through five games.
This is Carvalho's first Player of the Week honor this season and of his Bulldog career. The first for the Bulldogs this season.
The Black and Gold will take the short trip down the highway to play Providence this Saturday. The next home game for the Bulldogs will be against Saint Joseph's University on Tuesday, Sept. 16. For more information on Bryant University men's soccer, follow the Bulldogs on Instagram at
