SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant field hockey team continues its season-opening four-game homestand this weekend as it welcomes Dartmouth (Friday, 3:00 PM) and Hofstra (Sunday, 12:00 PM) to Cowen Field.
Bryant opened the season with a pair of victories over New Haven (6-0) and Stonehill (4-0) last weekend, marking just the third time in program history the Bulldogs have started 2-0.

- Megan Smith scored in each game - the first two goals of her collegiate career - and finished the weekend with five points.
- Alexa Sedicino tied the program single-game record with three assists in the opener and finished the weekend with four helpers.
- Elyse Bouchard, Maddy DeFilippo, Emerson Johnson and Claire Joss also scored the first goals of their careers last weekend.
- Sara DeSousa posted the first two shutouts of her career without making a save.

- Hofstra split its opening weekend of games, falling to UAlbany (3-2) and defeating Sacred Heart (2-0).
- Teresa Karoff scored in each game, while Gwenn van Dijk and Kelly Levengood added goals.
- Luci Hollister played both games in cage, posting a 1.50 GAA and a .700 save percentage. She stopped seven shots.
