BOSTON – The Bryant volleyball team racked up several America East weekly awards.
Arianna Ugolini was named America East Player of the Week,
Madison Koeller was named America East Setter of the Week, and
Ruth Ochelli was named America East Rookie of the Week.
Arianna Ugolini started the week with a career-high 27 kills against Fairfield on Wednesday. She also added 14 kills against Harvard on Friday and a game-high 20 kills against Stonehill on Saturday. She followed that up by recording her third double-double of the season against Boston College on Saturday (Sep.20), posting 17 kills and 11 digs, and adding 3 service aces. She averaged 4.59 kills per set over the weekend.
Madison Koeller tallied a career-high 58 assists against Fairfield on Wednesday (Sep.17), ranking her 3
rd all-time in Bryant Division 1 history for single-game assists. She also ranks 3
rd all-time in Division 1 four set matches and is tied for 6
th all-time in Division 1 matches for the single-game assist record. She averaged 10.94 assists per set.
Ruth Ochelli recorded a career-high 20 kills against Harvard on Friday (Sep.19). She averaged 3.21 points per set over the weekend and finished with 47 kills.
The Bulldogs are in action tonight against the New Haven Chargers in non-conference play. First serve is at 7:00 PM at the Chace Athletic Center.
