Series History
- This is the first meeting between the Bulldogs and the Aggies. This will be the Black and Gold's second-ever match-up against a C-USA team, as the team fell to FIU 38-37 (OT) in 2022.
Bulldogs Notes and Notables
- Brennan Myer will look to lead the Black and Gold under center. He started four games and made seven appearances last season, tallying 1,111 yards and 12 touchdowns.
- The Bulldogs welcomed 64 new players to the team this season, with 17 being transfer students.
- Michael Otty returns for a fifth year and was selected to the Preseason All-CAA team. Otty has had at least one sack and two tackles for loss in every season with the Black and Gold.
- This year, the Bulldogs named Myer, Maximus Villar, Elijah Elliott, and Dorian Helm as the team's captains.Â
A bit about the Aggies
- Last season New Mexico State finished with a 3-9 record.
- Montana transfer Logan Fife will be under center for the Aggies. Last season Fife tallied 1,890 yards and 14 TDs at Montana.
- TJ Pride led the team in receiving last season, hauling in 34 receptions for 374 yards.
- Tyler Martinez posted a team-leading 96 tackles last season for the Aggies.
