VESTAL, N.Y. –
Grace McKillop pitched a complete game, striking out four and holding second-seeded UMBC to one run in the 2-1 victory for the fourth-seeded Bryant University Softball team that advances them to the America East Championship.
Sam Rohwer hit an RBI-triple in the top of the sixth to tie the game at one, which was followed by
Meaghan Houk, who hit a sac-fly for the eventual game-winning run.
With the win, Bryant advances to the America East Championship round for the first time in program history and will face top-seeded Binghamton on Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. Bryant will need to defeat the Bearcats twice to claim its first league title.

- In the bottom of the third inning, the Retrievers hit an RBI-single (1-0).
- Laniya Lewis was hit by a pitch to begin the top of the sixth. Makenna Coleman laid down a sac-bunt. Followed by an RBI-triple from Sam Rohwer, tying the game at one. Meaghan Houk then sent a foul ball deep that was caught, allowing Rohwer to tag up (2-1).
