SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team spent the weekend on the road, collecting both a win and loss. The Bulldogs put up a good fight against UMass Amherst finishing with a score of 2-5, but bounced back on Sunday with a perfect 7-0 win over Providence College.
In Amherst, the Minutemen were leading the Bulldogs after doubles play. Bryant was not able to rebound during singles play with 2 wins out of 6.
Head coach Barbara Cilli describes the match as "a good fight but had our opportunities and fell short."
