Makenna Coleman went 2-3, hitting a two-run home run and a double in the Bryant University softball team's 10-8 loss against the University of Rhode Island at Conaty Park.

How it Happened
- The Rams scored four runs in the top of the first on a single and a three-run triple (4-0).
- At the bottom of the first, Coleman was walked and Hannah Cohran recorded a bunt single, putting both players on base. Sam Rohwer then brought home a run on a fielder's choice and then scored on the next at-bat due to a wild pitch (4-2).
- URI took a five run lead off a three-run home run in the top of the second (7-2).
- Faith Valenzuela was hit by a pitch and then advanced to third base on a Jaelyn Lee single down the right-field line. Laniya Lewis then executed a sac-bunt scoring Valenzuela from third in the bottom of the second (7-3).
- In the bottom of the third, Bryce Clendenin drew a walk, followed by a McKenzie McAloon single, leading to a Lexi Powell RBI-single (7-4).
- Lewis was waked anfd then Coleman hit a towering two-run home run to left field in the bottom of the fourth pulling the Bulldogs within one (7-6).
- The Rams would then score three runs in the top of the sixth on two singles (10-6).
- Coleman would hit a double in the bottom of the sixth and then she scored on the following at-bat due to a URI error (10-7).
- In the bottom of the seventh, Powell recorded a leadoff double, folowed by a RBI-double from Lee down the right field line (10-8).
- The Bulldogs would strike out in the next two at-bats ending the game.
