EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team clinched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament, winning the Ohio Valley Conference Championship with an impressive 4-2 win over Southeast Missouri State University Saturday afternoon.
The Black and Gold are on their way to Bryant's first NCAA tournament appearance since 2022, and the program's third appearance since going DI. Â
The Bulldogs were trailing the Redhawks following doubles play with the sole Bryant win coming from Natalia Vela and Maria Jose Hernandez Diaz. Bouncing back in singles play, Bryant successfully clinched the win after victories from Yahli Noy, Aurora Pedwell, Natalia Vela, and Maria Jose Hernandez Diaz, who sealed the deal.
