SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant baseball team fell to UAlbany, 13-9, in 14 innings on Saturday afternoon at Conaty Park.
The Bulldogs fall to 8-12-1 overall and 0-2 in America East play with the loss. The Great Danes win the series following a 9-4 win on Friday. The series concludes Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
UAlbany scored four runs in the top of the 14
th to break a 9-9 tie and earn the victory. The two teams combined for 41 hits and left a combined 42 runners on base. Levi McAllister's second home run of the game broke the deadlock in the 14
th.

How it Happened
- The Great Danes scored four times in the first three innings to take the lead. McAllister made it 4-0 with a two-run home run in the third.
- A solo home run from Gavin Noriega and a two-run home run from Pat D'Amico brought Bryant within 4-3 after five innings.
- Bryant took its only lead of the game with three runs in the bottom of the sixth. Zac Zyons doubled home the tying run and Gavin Greger made it 6-4 with a two-out, two-run bloop single.
- UAlbany immediately responded with a three-run inning of its own. A two-out dropped foul pop up extended the inning and back-to-back bases-loaded walks gave the Great Danes a 7-6 lead.
- Back-to-back doubles from Matt D'Amato and D'Amico retied the game in the bottom of the seventh.
- A UAlbany home run made it 8-7 but D'Amato's two-out RBI single tie the game back up in the bottom of the eighth.
- The Great Danes scored in the top of the 10th but Drew Wyers opened the bottom of the 10th with a home run to center. The Bulldogs would load the bases but a fly out to right ended the rally.
- Ty Davis kept the game tied through 12 as he struck out back-to-back batters with the bases loaded.
- McAllister broke the tie with a two-run shot in the 14th. A two-out, two-run double made it 13-9.
