Chloe Jewitt pitches a complete game shutout in the Bryant University softball team's 7-0 win against Lafayette on Saturday.
Bryce Clendinin had a solo home run, three hits, and two RBI.
Sam Rohwer posted two hits and three RBI.
The Bulldogs fell to Campbell 7-4 in the day's second game.

How it Happened (GM1)
- In the bottom of the second inning, Meaghan Houk and Gracie Bishop drew back-to-back walks, which led to a Sam Rohwer RBI double down the left-field line (1-0).
- Clendenin hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the third inning (2-0). The Bulldogs then loaded the bases off three straight walks, leading to an RBI for Amira Rainer (3-0). On the next at-bat, Rohwer hit a single through the left side scoring two (5-0). The Black and Gold scored their fifth run of the inning on a bases-loaded walk (6-0).
- In the bottom of the fifth, Laniya Lewis drew a walk and then stole a second, leading to a Clendenin RBI single up the middle (7-0).

- Campbell scored the game's first run on a bunt single in the bottom of the first (1-0).
- The Camels scored two more runs in the bottom of the third off of a single and groundout (3-0).
- Hannah Cochran hit a leadoff double, followed by a Lewis walk, which set up Clendenin, who hit a double down the left field line, scoring two (3-2). Faith Valenzuela pinch-ran and advanced to third on a wild pitch. Larrow drew a walk, and Jaiden McKenna stole second, who pinch-ran for Larrow, leading to a two-RBI single from Houk up the middle, giving the Bulldogs the lead in the top of the fifth (4-3).
- Campbell hit a grand slam in the bottom of the fifth to take a three-run lead (7-4).
