SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant football team announced the signing of 18 future Bulldogs during the early signing period on Wednesday, December 3.

"Wednesday was a demonstration of our commitment to recruit high school football players as a foundation of our football program,' said head coach Chris Merritt. "The combination of size and speed of this class overall is unlike any that we have recruited in my time here at Bryant".

Cleveland "Trey" Gary III | Linebacker | Miami Gardens, Fla. | Monsignor Edward Pace

• Earned First Team All-Dade honors at Monsignor Edward Pace.
• Standing 6-foot and weighing 210 pounds, Gary brings athleticism and toughness to the Bulldogs' defense.

Gyan King | Defensive Back | Mays Landing, N.J. | Cedar Creek

• Three-time First Team WJFL selection at Cedar Creek.
• Set the school record with seven interceptions as a sophomore.
• Also shined as a wide receiver, posting 750 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior.
• Posted a kick return score in his team's victory in the Group 3 State Championship at MetLife Stadium.

Calvin Mobley | Defensive Back | Ruskin, Fla. | Lennard

• Collected 19.0 tackles and an interception in 10 games for Lennard.
• Also posted six pass breakups.

Jonathan Jean-Louis | Defensive End | Providence, R.I. | Hope High School

• Local product that shined at Hope High School in Providence.
• Posted 62.0 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and six QB hurries.

Jahmir Campfield | Defensive Back | Egg Harbor City, N.J. | Cedar Creek

• Standout two-way player for Group 3 State Champion Cedar Creek.
• Posted 1,400 yards of total offense and 19 total touchdowns on offense.
• Collected 48 tackles, two interceptions, and 10 TFLs as a defensive back.
• Electrifying 52-yard TD run at MetLife Stadium in state title game.

Tatum "TJ" McBall | Defensive Tackle | Linwood, N.J. | Mainland

• Shined at Mainland High School.
• Posted 43.0 total tackles, 3.0 sacks, and 19.0 TFLs as a senior.

Chevaunie "Chevy" Shakespeare | Barnstable Town, Mass. | St. Mark's School

• Earned All-League honors at Barnstable in 2023.
• Played his final two seasons at St. Mark's School, earning All-ISL honors.

Cedric Griffin | Defensive Back | Lago Vista, Texas | Lago Vista

• Son of former NFL defensive back Cedric Griffin.
• First Team All-District selection as a senior in 2025.

Jean Calixte | Defensive Back | Miami, Fla. | Miami Southridge

• Starred at Miami Southridge.
• Posted 66.0 tackles, 3.0 TFLs, six interceptions, and 11 pass breakups.

Elijah Diaz | Offensive Line | Clifton, N.J. | St. Thomas Moore

• Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 315 pounds, Diaz brings size, strength, and agility to the Bulldogs' front.
• Known for his dominant presence in the trenches and ability to protect the quarterback, Diaz is expected to make an immediate impact in the Bulldogs' offensive scheme.

Shacre Colwell | Wide Receiver | Bethlehem, Pa. | St. Thomas More

•  At 6-foot-2 with blazing speed (4.59 in the 40), Colwell brings elite athleticism and ball skills to the Bulldogs.
• In his senior season at Freedhom High School, he hauled in 44 passes for 734 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 24 tackles and three interceptions on defense.

Jordan Evans | Offensive Line | Mount Holly, N.J. | Rancocas Valley

• Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 310 pounds, Evans brings size, strength, and agility to the Bulldogs' trenches.
• Evans posted four pancake blocks on offense and added five tackles with a tackle for loss on defense during his senior season.
• Known for his ability to protect the quarterback and create running lanes.

William "AJ" Ogbonna | Defensive End | Glen Allen, Va. | Glen Allen

•  Standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 220 pounds, Ogbonna brings speed, strength, and versatility to the Bulldogs' defense.
• In his junior season, he racked up 67 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks, earning All-Region honors
• Earned All-Region honors again as a senior in 2025.

Nisaiah Maldonado | Offensive Line | Pennington, N.J. | The Pennignton School

• Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 305 pounds, Maldonado brings size, strength, and technique to the Bulldogs.
• In his senior season, he recorded 12 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, and a safety while anchoring Pennington's line on both sides of the ball.
• Has great versatility and power up front.

Andrew Beck | Tight End | Arlington, Mass. | Arlington

• At 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds, Beck brings a rare combination of size, athleticism, and versatility to the Bulldogs.
• Beck capped his senior season with standout performances, including two touchdown receptions in Arlington's Thanksgiving victory.
• Known for his ability to stretch the field as a receiver and set the edge on defense

Bodhi Wolford | Quarterback | Jackson, Ohio | Jackson

•  Standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 198 pounds, Wolford brings accuracy, poise, and leadership to the Bulldogs' offense.
• Two-time All-State QB in Ohio.
• Threw for 1500 yards, 15 TDs as a senior after throwing for 1,968 yards and 25 TDs as a junior.

Jarryn Payne | Wide Receiver | Washington, N.C. | Washington

• At 6-foot-4, Payne combines size, speed, and athleticism to create mismatches on both sides of the ball.
•  Payne led Washington with 871 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, while adding four interceptions on defense.
• He capped his senior season with a standout playoff performance, hauling in 137 yards and a touchdown against North Johnston.
