BOSTON, MASS. - Mia Mancini of the Bryant University women's basketball team was named the America East player of the week by the organization on Monday afternoon.

Mancini earned her first America East Player of the Week honor after she tied her career-high of 28 points to lead the Bulldogs to a victory over Boston College on Tuesday. This was the first win over a Power 4 program in program history. Mancini went 8-14 (57%) from the field, 88 from the free throw line, and hit four from beyond the arc.

This was Mancini's third game of 20+ points this season and sixth with multiple three-pointers. She is averaging a career-high 15.2 points per game and shooting a career-best 39% from deep, both of which rank fifth in the conference.

Bryant returns to the floor this Friday and Sunday, hosting Georgian Court (11 AM) and Franklin Pierce (1 PM).
