FOUR BULLDOGS REACH DOUBLE-FIGURES IN SEASON OPENING VICTORY AGAINST CCSU

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Mimi Rubino, Nia Scott, Mia Mancini, and Maranda Nyborg all reached double-figures in the Bryant University women's basketball team's 71-50 season-opening victory over Central Connecticut.
 
Rubino and Scott led the way with 15 points, while Mancini and Nyborg each tallied 13.
 
The Bulldogs held CCSU to 0% shooting in the fourth quarter en route to the victory.

  • The Blue Devils jumped out to a 16-4 lead in the first five minutes of the game.
