Timofei Rudovskii, Aaron Davis and
Khalil Williams all scored in double figures but the Bryant men's basketball team dropped its season opener, 82-66, to Siena on Monday night at MVP Arena.
With the loss, the Bulldogs drop their season opener and fall to 0-1 on the year. Bryant returns to the court on Friday night (November 7) when it visits ACC foe Georgia Tech. Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
Monday's opener saw nine players make their Bryant debuts. Rudovskii paced Bryant with 15 points off an efficient 5-of-6 shooting from the field and a 3-of-3 mark from beyond the arc. Davis finished with 14 points, four boards, three steals and two assists, while Williams added 12 points, four boards and four assists in his collegiate debut.

- Siena opened up the game with a 9-0 run early in the second half.
How it Happened
- Siena jumped out to an early 10-2 lead, forcing a Bryant timeout with 16:30 left in the first half.
- The Saints would push the lead to 14-2 before the Bulldogs answered with an 8-2 run to make it a six-point game. Threes from Davis and Akoue were followed by an Allen transition bucket with 12:16 left.
- A pair of threes from Brendan Coyle, however, helped Siena extend its lead back to 10, 24-14, with 7:58 to play in the first half.
- Rudovskii swished a pair of catch-and-shoot threes to pull Bryant within four, 24-20, at the 7:03 mark of the opening half.
- Again the Saints would answer but Khalil Williams' first-career triple made it a six-point game.
- Ashley Sims II closed the half with his first-career basket, bringing Bryant within eight, 39-31, at the intermission.
- After an early Bryant basket to open the second half, the Saints ripped off a quick 6-0 run to make it a 12-point game and force an early Bryant timeout.
- The Saints then pushed their lead to a game-high 16, 59-43, with a 9-0 run.
- Siena's run would extend to 23-10 and give the Saints a 70-50 lead with 8:17 to play.
- The Black and Gold made things interesting, going on a 10-0 run to make it a 10-point game with 3:15 left. The run was highlighted by back-to-back threes from Rudovskii and Williams.
- Siena responded with a 9-3 run to close out the win.

- Bryant had nine players make their debut in the Black and Gold on Monday night. Of those nine, Tabales, Akoue, Bourgade, Sims, Rudovskii and Williams made their collegiate debuts.
- Davis finished in double figures for the third time in his Bryant career. His 14 points are a new career high.
- Rudovskii's 15 points are the most by a freshman in his collegiate debut since Michael Green III scored 14 in his debut vs Brown in the season opener of the 2019-20 season. They are one point shy of Nisre Zouzoua's 16 against Duke to begin the 2015-16 season.
- Williams was making his Bryant debut after redshirting the 2024-25 season.
- Allen's three blocks were one shy of his career high.
