BOSTON, MA — Bryant women's swimming and diving put together a record-setting day at the Terrier Invite on Saturday, showcased by two school records and a championship performance on the boards.
Jocie Niemczyk delivered one of the program's top swims of the weekend, placing second in the A final of the 100 breaststroke while breaking the school record in the event (1:02.51). Ruby Tonelli added the Bulldogs' second program mark of the day, clocking a 53.12 in the 100 butterfly to lower the Bryant record and placing second in the event.
In the 200 freestyle A final, Katherine Bailey continued her strong meet with a third-place finish against a competitive field.
On the diving side, Megan Beasly captured the 3-meter title, securing Bryant's lone event championship of the day and adding momentum heading into Sunday's events.
