SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University women's basketball team begins the 2025-26 season with a home game against Central Connecticut on Monday with a 6:00 pm tip-off.

The Bulldogs are coming off a 17-15 season, in which they advanced to the America East Semifinals for the first time and hosted Army in the WNIT for the first time in DI program history.

Lynne-Ann Kokoski begins her third year as Bryant's head coach. In her two years, the Black and Gold have produced back-to-back 15+ win seasons and have hosted Binghamton in the Quarterfinals in each year.

• Mia Mancini returns for her junior season after being named to the America East Preseason Team for the second consecutive year. Mancini posted seven 20+ point games last year and had eleven games with 2+ made from deep.
• Nia Scott had a breakout season last year, recording 14+ games of 10+ rebounds and eight double-doubles. She earned AE All-Defensive honors last season.
• Graduates Maranda Nyborg and Mimi Rubino return for a second season. Rubino had eight games of double-figure scoring, including finishing the season with six straight 10+ point games. Nyborg tallied a rebound in 31 of 32 games last year and tied her career-high of 19 points in consecutive games against Cornell and Stonehill.
• Martina Boba and Olivia Fernandez also return to the Black and Gold. Fernandez earned a spot on the AE All-Rookie Team in a season where she had 11 games with a steal, including seven with 2+. Boba had 20 games with a takeaway and 12 hitting a shot from beyond the arc.
• Transfers Abbey Lindsey (UMass Lowell), Rose Nelson (Fordham), and Madara Liepniece (McCook CC) will make their Bryant debut on Monday. They will be joined by freshman Jaida Guerra, Azanah Campbell, Izzy Adams, and Giselle Davis.

• CCSU is coming off an 11-19 record last season.
• The Blue Devils will have a new look from last year, bringing in five freshmen and one transfer.
• Kristin Caruso begins her first full season as head coach, after bringing CCSU to a 9-6 record last year and helping Belle Lanpher earn NEC Player of the Year.
