MEN’S SOCCER EARN NO. 11 SEED IN NCAA DIVISION I MEN’S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP

INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 5 Bryant University men's soccer team earned an at-large selection to the 2025 NCAA Division I men's soccer championship, as announced by the organization this afternoon.  

Bryant will serve as the No. 11 seed and will host the winner of Thursday's first round game between Seton Hall and Siena on Sunday, No. 23 at Beirne Stadium. Kickoff will be at 6:00 p.m. The men's soccer program is the first team to earn an at-large selection to the NCAA tournament in Bryant DI history.

The Black and Gold are making their second NCAA men's soccer championship appearance (2023) and are 0-1 in the tournament. Bryant hosted Yale in 2023 and lost 0-1 in that match.

Bryant opened the season with a tie. Following that result, the program earned the nation's longest winning streak at 13 games. The Bulldogs climbed the United Soccer Coaches rankings during the season, reaching as high as No. 2 in the country. Bryant defeated UMass Lowell in the semifinals of the America East Championship, earning a third-consecutive America East Championship game appearance. The Bulldogs earned a spot in the NCAA men's soccer championship and earned a top 16 seed with a record of 16-2-2. The Black and Gold have the fourth-best winning percentage in the country and the seventh-best goal differential in the country.

Bryant has won 42 games since 2023, including 19 wins against America East opponents, the most wins out of any team in the conference over the last three years. Jaime Amaro leads the America East with four game-winning goals, seven assists, 10 goals, and 27 points. Mamadi Jiana and Paco Fernandez are both in the top 10 in goals in the conference at third and sixth, respectively, while Marc Pitarch Bayot has the second-most assists in the conference with six. Fermin Rodriguez and Tiago Dias each have five assists on the season, the fourth most in the conference.
