SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's and women's swimming and diving teams open their 2025–26 campaign Saturday, traveling to Fairfield for their first regular-season meet. Diving begins at 10 a.m., followed by swimming at noon.
Saturday marks the third regular season meeting between the Bulldogs and the Stags.

Bulldog Notes
- Bryant and Fairfield previously competed together in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
- This is just the second matchup between the programs in the past 17 years.
- In last season's meeting, Bryant opened with a victory in the 200 medley relay.
- James Misto captured wins in both the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
- Christopher Buonocore swept the diving events, earning first in both the 1-meter and 3-meter.
- On the women's side, Marcella Figueroa anchored both the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays, helping Bryant to a win in the 400 free relay. She also claimed the 50 freestyle in 24.34.
- Amanda Witkus won the 200 butterfly and finished second in the 100 fly in her Bulldog debut.
