BOSTON, Mass. — Amanda Witkus of the Bryant University women's swimming and diving team was named America East Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Witkus  won a pair of events, setting two pool records of her own in the 200-yard butterfly (2:00.43) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.77). She was also a member of the 200-yard medley relay that set a new pool record with a time of 1:43.90.

She also placed second in the 100 fly.
