Jaime Amaro scored his seventh goal of the season to lift the No. 5 Bryant University men's soccer team to a 2-1 win over the University of Baltimore, Maryland County (UMBC) on Saturday evening in the team's second conference match of the season.
The Bulldogs' winning streak has entered double digits. The ten-game winning streak brings the record on the season to 10-0-1. The Bulldogs win their second game of the America East campaign on the road at Retriever Soccer Park. The Bryant defense played lights out and minimized opportunities when UMBC tried to put the clamps on them, not allowing a goal until two minutes left in the match. Despite a last minute fracas from the Retrievers, the Bulldogs held on to exit Baltimore with all three points.
