ORLANDO, F.L. – The Bryant women's bowling team started their season down south this weekend, competing in the Destination Orlando tournament.
The Bulldogs had an impressive showing, defeating four ranked opponents including No. 6 Arkansas State, No. 12 Duquesne, No. 14 Mount St. Mary's, and No. 16 University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Bryant finished 13
th out of 24
th with a 7-6 overall record in Orlando.
Friday – Oct. 24th
Bryant started their season with a win over No. 6 Arkansas State. They finished with a 3-2 record for the day.
Jessica Swenson led the team with a 20.18 baker frame average.
Saturday – Oct. 25th
The Bulldogs started the day with another nationally ranked win over No. 14 Mount St. Mary's. They proceeded to go 1-4 the rest of the day.
Olivia Hillman led the team, finishing 22
nd individually with a total score of 971.
Sunday – Oct. 26th
Bryant went 3-0 on the day, finishing 13
th overall in the tournament. They defeated two nationally ranked teams again, including No. 12 Duquesne and No. 16 University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Hillman led the team again, finishing with a 22.64 baker average.
Madison Damer also had a standout performance, finishing with a 20.75 baker average.

The Black and Gold are back in action next weekend, competing in the NU Brunswick Fall Open, hosted by Niagara University (Nov. 1-2).
