RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Bryant volleyball team picked up their consecutive victory on the road at Manhattan on Tuesday night, defeating the Jaspers in four sets in non-conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- SET 1 – Bryant pulled ahead 11-7, forcing a Manhattan timeout. The Bulldogs were led by an ace from Melis Isik, two kills and an ace from Arianna Ugolini, and a block from Lea Mackey and Brookelyn Talmadge. The Bulldogs extended their lead to 16-10, as Lea Mackey, Ruth Ochelli, and London Hunt each pounded a kill. The Jaspers wouldn't back down however, cutting the deficit to one, trailing 17-16. Bryant responded by utilizing kills from Ruth Ochelli and Lea Mackey and an ace from Arianna Ugolini to take the 21-18 lead, prompting another Manhattan timeout. Kaitlin Curran and Arianna Ugolini each thundered a kill after the timeout and Claudia Camacho-Castro finished off the set with an ace to win it 25-19.
- SET 2 – The Bulldogs took the 13-11 lead, powered by back-to-back aces from Claudia Camacho-Castro and a pair of kills from Ruth Ochelli. The Jaspers countered by going on an 8-3 run to pull in front 19-16 and force a Bulldog timeout. The Bulldogs responded by going on a 7-3 run to take the 23-22 lead, prompting a Jaspers timeout. The Bulldogs were powered by kills from London Hunt and Brookelyn Talmadge, and a kill and consecutive aces from Ruth Ochelli. Manhattan answered the bell after the timeout, winning the next three points to win the set 25-23.
- SET 3 – Bryant raced out to a 10-4 advantage, leading to a Manhattan timeout. Kaitlin Curran started the third set on fire, smashing two kills and adding an ace. The Bulldogs tacked onto their lead, going up 17-10 as London Hunt pounded a pair of kills and Brookelyn Talmadge and Ruth Ochelli combined for a block. Despite a pushback from the Jaspers, the Bulldogs stayed in front and took the 21-16 lead with Arianna Ugolini chalking up a trio of kills. The Bulldogs closed it out 25-20 courtesy of kills from Ruth Ochelli and Brookelyn Talmadge, and Madison Koeller finished it off by tapping it over the net to put Bryant up 2-1 in sets.
- SET 4 – The Bulldogs jumped in front 13-8 in the fourth set powered by five combined kills by Kaitlin Curran and Ruth Ochelli, forcing a Jaspers timeout. Kaitlin Curran and Brookelyn Talmadge continued their dominance, combining for three kills to give Bryant the 19-11 lead. Arianna Ugolini smashed a pair of kills and London Hunt delivered the knockout blow to seal the fourth set 25-13 and give Bryant the road victory.
