• This is the first meeting between Delaware and the Bulldogs.

Bulldogs Notes and Notables

• The Black and Gold will begin their first season as members of the CAA Football Conference.
• Transfer Jarrett Guest will be the quarterback for Bryant after spending five seasons at Coastal Carolina. He played six games last season, tallying 696 yards and seven touchdowns.
• The Bulldogs have a DI record of 5-13 against current members of the CAA.
• Fabrice Mukendi, Ryan Clark, Landon Ruggieri, and Gary Cooper return for the Black and Golds offense. Mukendi and Clark posted 530 yards on the ground and 11 touchdowns. Ruggieri posted 319 yards in an injury-shortened season, including a 109-yard performance in last year's opener against UNLV. 
• The Bulldog's defense last season recorded a turnover in every game, earning a turnover margin of 3.18, ranking third in the country.

A bit about the Blue Hens

• Delaware posted a 9-4 record last season, earning a spot in the FCS playoffs and winning their first game against Lafayette 36-34.
• Delaware will play its last season in the CAA. Next season, it will join FBS football as part of Conference USA.
• All-American Marcus Yarns leads the offense after tallying 1,250 all-purpose yards and 18 TDs last season. 
• The Blue Hens defense posted 24 turnovers last season, which ranked tenth in the nation.
