SAN ANTONIO -- The ninth-seeded Bryant women's tennis team fell to top-seeded Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 4-0, on Friday morning in the second round of the 2024 Southland Conference Women's Tennis Championships. 

How it Happened

• The Bulldogs battled in doubles but eventually dropped the point with losses at the top two spots.
• No. 2 doubles finished first, while Caitlyn Munson and Natalia Vela dropped a tight 7-5 decision at No. 1.
• The Islanders clinched the match with victories at No. 4, No. 1 and No. 6.
• Munson battled in an 7-6 first set before her match at No. 5 went unfinished.
