BRENTWOOD, T.N. – Natalia Vela and Maria Jose Hernandez were named the OVC doubles team of the week, announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.

This is the first time this season Vela and Hernandez have received this award.

The No. 1 doubles pair is coming off a perfect 4-0 week after the Bulldogs trip to Orlando. Vela and Hernandez earned wins over Hillsborough (6-2), Texas A&M Kingsville (6-1), FDU (6-2), and Stetson (6-4). The Bulldogs went 5-1 last week in Orlando and improved their record to 12-5 this season.

Bryant is back in action at Brown on Sunday at 1:00 PM in Providence, RI.
