Earl Timberlake finished with 23 points but the Bryant men's basketball team fell to Towson, 70-65, on Sunday afternoon at TU Arena.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 6-8 on the year. Bryant will have eight days off before closing non-conference play at Grand Canyon University on Monday, December 30.
Timberlake posted his second-straight 20-point effort and surpassed 1,000 points in his time as a member of the Black and Gold. He added seven rebounds and four assists in a full 40 minutes.
Barry Evans added 18 points and six boards.

- Dylan Williamson's step-back jumper gave Towson a 60-59 lead and sparked a 7-0 Tigers run with five minutes left in the game.
How it Happened
- Bryant grabbed an early 5-2 lead as Evans scored the first points of the afternoon for the Bulldogs.
- The teams then traded threes as Keyshawn Mitchell sank one for Bryant and Christian May would hit a pair for Towson.
- Sulaiman's layup at the 15:42 mark would give the Tigers a lead, 10-8, that it would not relinquish the rest of the half.
- It was part of a larger 17-3 run that put the Tigers up 11, 22-11, with 8:59 left in the first half.
- A three from Tyler Tejada gave Towson its largest lead of 12 before Bryant was able to chip away. Jakai Robinson finished an and-1, while Mitchell sank his second three of the half.
- Bryant would then rip off a 7-0 run over the final three minutes to pull within three points. Timberlake finished twice inside and Evans hammered home a perfect bounce pass from Connor Withers with 21 seconds left.
- Dylan Williamson's spin and finish off the glass as time expired gave the Tigers a 33-28 lead at the break.
- Bryant would come out of the break flying led by Timberlake. The Tigers would score the first bucket of the half before Timberlake scored nine of Bryant's 11 points in a 11-0 run that gave Bryant a 39-35 lead less than four minutes in.
- Timberlake finished twice at the rim, surpassing 1,000 points as a member of the Bulldogs with his bucket at the 18:53 mark. He would then spin to the rack for two before knocking down a three from the top to make it 39-35.
- Back-to-back Withers threes were followed by an Evans three as Bryant led, 48-41.
- Bryant would open the half 9-of-11 from the field and 4-of-4 from three.
- The Tigers would cut it to four, 50-46, at the under-12 media.
- Towson would continue its comeback with a three-point play from Tejada. A technical foul then led to Towson free throws and a turnaround jumper that gave the Tigers a 53-52 lead with 9:40 left.
- Evans had a big answer for Bryant, swishing a three from the far wing to give Bryant the lead back.
- The Tigers would then take a 58-55 lead as Lowery completed a three-point play and May finished in transition.
- Bryant would take a 59-58 lead on a Timberlake layup with 5:28 left but the Tigers answered again. Williamson answered with a jumper and Embeya completed a three-point play off an offensive rebound in transition to make it 63-59 at the under-4 media.
- The Tigers would push the lead to six before free throws from Kvonn Cramer and a layup from Timberlake made it a two-point game, 65-67, with 23.2 seconds left.
- Towson was able to close the game out from the free throw line.

- Towson held a 44-33 edge on the glass and a 34-26 edge in points in the paint.
