THE SERIES
- Bryant and Towson are meeting for the third time in program history. The Bulldogs have won each of the first two meetings.
- Last season, Bryant defeated the Tigers, 101-93, in double overtime in a game played at UBS Arena on Long Island. Doug Edert tied the game with three free throws in the final second of regulation.
- In 2022, Tyler Brelsford and Chauncey Hawkins IV combined for 25 points off the bench to lift Bryant to a 69-59 victory at the Chace.
BRYANT NIPPED BY FORDHAM
- Bryant dropped an 86-84 heartbreaker to Fordham on Dec. 14 at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Rams toom the lead on a three pointer with 6.8 seconds remaining.
- The Bulldogs had rallied from 18 down in the first half to take an 84-83 lead on two Kvonn Cramer free throws. Bryant's three-point attempt at the buzzer was no good.
- Cramer led Bryant with a career high 23 points, while Earl Timberlake added 21 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.
CRAMER NOTCHES CAREER HIGH VS FORDHAM
- Kvonn Cramer recorded a career-high 23 points in Bryant's last game vs Fordham. He was 8-of-12 from the field, 2-of-2 from three and 5-of-7 from the line.
- It marked Cramer's first career 20-point effort and pushed his season average to 8.8 ppg.
FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW
- Sunday will be Bryant's first game in eight days and will be one of two games in the final 17 days of 2024. The Bulldogs played five games in the first 14 days of December.
- Earl Timberlake posted 21 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists vs Fordham for his fourth double-double of the year. He has scored 18+ points in each of his last four games and currently leads the America East with 5.0 assists per game.
- Rafael Pinzon leads the Bulldogs with 18.8 ppg and is currently ranks eighth nationally in three-point field goal percentage. Pinzon missed Bryant's game vs Fordham.
- Barry Evans is Bryant's third leading scorer, averaging 12.8 ppg on the year. Evans posted 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists at St. John's and collected 10 pts and nine boards vs Fordham.
- Connor Withers notched his 1,000th career point vs Fordham, hitting a three-point field goal at the 17:59 mark of the second half. Withers is averaging 7.9 ppg over his 127-game career.
