SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant men's basketball team faces Fordham in the Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday afternoon. Tip is set for 2:30 p.m.
Saturday's game will air on CBS Sports Network and is the first game of a doubleheader that also features Providence vs St. Bonaventure.

THE SERIES
- Bryant and Fordham are meeting for the second time in program history.
- The Bulldogs won the first meeting, 69-61, on December of 2019. It marked Bryant's first-ever win over an A-10 school.
- Benson Lin led Bryant with 15 points and Adam Grant chipped in 12 for the Black and Gold.
BRYANT FALLS AT ST. JOHN'S
- Bryant fell to Big East member St. John's, 99-77, on Wednesday night.
- The Black and Gold shot 49 percent from the field and were led by 21 points and 12 rebounds from Keyshawn Mitchell.
- Jakai Robinson added a career high 13 points in his second career start.
MITCHELL'S CAREER NIGHT
- Keyshawn Mitchell, a Brooklyn native, posted a career high 21 points and added 12 rebounds for his third double-double of the year.
- Mitchell finished 8-of-12 from the field and knocked down a pair of threes.
- He has now posted back-to-back 20-point efforts.
FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW
- Saturday marks Bryant's first-ever game at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Bulldogs also took part in a Hall of Fame Showcase event in the 2022-23 season, facing Liberty in Springfield, Mass.
- Earl Timberlake was named to the early season watch list for the Lou Henson Award, presented annually to the best player in mid-major college basketball. Timberlake has scored 18+ points in each of his last three games and now has 974 points in his Bryant career.
- Rafael Pinzon leads the Bulldogs with 18.8 ppg and is currently ranks ninth nationally in three-point field goal percentage. Pinzon was held below 10 points for the first time this season on Wednesday at St. John's.
- Barry Evans is Bryant's third leading scorer, averaging 13.0 ppg on the year. Evans posted 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists last Friday vs Brown and followed that up with 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists at St. John's.
- Connor Withers enters Saturday just one point shy of 1,000 in his collegiate career. He is averaging 11.3 ppg, the second-highest average of his career (11.4 in 2020-21).
