SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant men's basketball team heads to Chattanooga, Tenn., for Feast Week to face to Tennessee State (Tuesday) and Chattanooga (Wednesday) as part of the Coke Classic hosted by the Mocs.
The Coke Classic will mark Bryant's first foray into a Thanksgiving Week tournament in DI program history. It will also be the first time the Black and Gold will play on back-to-back days in a non-COVID year since 2016-17 season.
Bryant will face Tennessee State on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. and the host Mocs on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.

THE SERIES
- Bryant will be facing both Tennessee State and Chattanooga for the first time in program history.
FEAST WEEK
- Bryant will be competing in a Thanksgiving Week MTE for the first time in DI program history.
- The Bulldogs will also be playing on back-to-back days for the first time since the 2016-17 season. (Bryant did play back-to-back days vs conference opponents in the shortened 2020-21 COVID season).
- In 2016-17, Bryant faced Eastern Washington (L, 81-77) and UL-Monroe (W, 64-57) on back-to-back days in Washington.
BRYANT FALLS AT ST. BONAVENTURE
- Bryant is coming off an 85-70 loss at St. Bonaventure on Sunday afternoon.
- The Bulldogs trailed by as many as 20 points in the first half before closing the half on a 15-1 run.
- The Bonnies, however, opened the second half on an 18-7 run and were able to hold off the Bulldogs.
- Earl Timberlake led four in double figures with a season-high 17 points. Connor Withers also netted a season-high of 14, sinking a season-high four three-pointers.
FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW
- Bryant will be playing in the state of Tennessee for the first time in DI program history.
- Earl Timberlake was named to the early season watch list for the Lou Henson Award, presented annually to the best player in mid-major college basketball. Timberlake is averaging 13.2 ppg, 8.0 rpg and 5.0 apg this season. He also became just the 11th player in DI program history to surpass 900 career points (905).
- Rafael Pinzon has scored in double figures in all six games this season and is currently shooting 48 percent (14-of-29) from three on the year. Pinzon leads Bryant with 17.2 ppg.
- Connor Withers has 927 points, 581 rebounds, 222 assists, 133 blocks and 146 steals in 120 career games. Withers currently ranks 26th among active Division I players in career blocks.
- Barry Evans notched his fifth double-digit scoring effort of the year on Sunday at St. Bonaventure, finishing with 14. He scored in double figures just twice in 65 games the previous two seasons at St. Bonaventure.
